In this study commissioned by Achieve and Johnson, Grossnickle and Associates (JGA), more than 2,200 constituents and donors aged 20 to 40 years old were surveyed about their giving habits and engagement with organizations.

Some questions asked in the study include:

  •  As a donor, what information do you want to receive from an organization?
  • How would you like to receive this information?
  • How likely are you to give based on a particular asking method?
  • What factors influence your donations?

The results show that long-term success will require organizations to focus on personal engagement; making meaningful connections with this audience.  In their report, Achieve shares the results of the study and outlines a strategy for engaging millennial donors.
